The Madrigal Family in ‘Encanto’ Movie

The family with complexities that are present to many families anywhere in the world.

This Disney movie was released in November or December 2021 but I only got the chance to watch it during the Christmas break and I was enchanted with the idea that it is a Disney family movie. Perfect to watch with my sons!

Disney’s Encanto: A Magical World

Encanto: A Magical World tells the tale of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia in a magical house, in a vibrant town, in a wondrous, charming place called an Encanto. In the film, the magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift from super strength to the power to heal — every child except one, Mirabel (Stephanie Beatriz). But when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is in danger, Mirabel decides that she, the only ordinary Madrigal, might just be her exceptional family’s last hope.

After I watched Encanto (three times now), a lot of realizations sprung up from deep inside me because there are so many meaningful lessons in it and each character showcased an important personality that can be reflected by many and not to mention the great musicality.
