Squid Game is a South Korean 9-episode bloody drama series about mysterious, survival games that you can watch on Netflix. The series is all about competing in traditional and universal children’s games played in Korea years ago. (As we may know, most children these days do not know how to play street games anymore.)

The whole season 1 has 9 episodes featuring 6 mysterious, brutal games. Each game still has the original rules of a children’s game but with a shocking twist.

While all 456 players came from various walks of life, they all have something in common. That is… debt.

Debt was their common reason why they ended up in this brutal game. They were all hungry for money.

All of them would get to play fairly for the chance to win 45.6 billion won or about $38 million!
